A one-on-one with Dr. Markelov

If you are out of town, Dr. Markelov will provide you with a Video Session in the comfort of your own home. More details on this are covered below.

Preparing for your treatment

You will need to be in town a day before your procedure. We will go over personalized pre- and post-operative instructions with you beforehand. The consent forms can be signed electronically.

Virtual Consultation

We are happy to work with you to make your trip and surgery as convenient as possible, and so offer a Virtual Consultation for out-of-town patients. We request that you submit photos of the area of your desired procedure using our contact form prior to virtual consultation, so Dr. Markelov can take a look and evaluate.

Patients will get a text at the time of appointment and click on the link to attend the virtual consultation via our HIPAA compliant telemedicine software, used for all virtual consultations. After giving permissions for phone and camera access, the patient will join the virtual exam room. Dr. Markelov will then be able to provide a complete consultation and address any questions and concerns, and from there your surgery can be scheduled should you wish to proceed.

Your safety and satisfaction are our highest priority

You will need to stay in town for approximately 2 to 3 days after the surgery. During that time, you will have a post-surgery follow-up visit with Dr. Markelov to ensure that you are recovering well and are ready for travel.
